DIGITAL MILLENNIUM COPYRIGHT ACT

Here at LK Nation, we take pride in how we have always been appreciating the Art community, in as many different ways as we can. Artists’ recognitions and respects are both our first priority when doing our business. We can guarantee that our artworks will never infringe the intellectual property rights as well as trademarks of other entities, artists, other suppliers on the market rather than the ones from our team.

Several international treaties with relation to intellectual property have been published across countries, yet one is different from another. Nevertheless, we hereby take some as references, as follows:

First of all is the law of COPYRIGHT, which would protect the expression of an original idea that was recorded in a tangible form, like artwork in photographs or wall paintings, in addition with literary works like stories, poems.

The second is TRADEMARK law, which protects the creation and use of specific symbols, designs or logos in terms of words, figures, shapes that are used to distinguish a good from another.

The third one is PUBLICITY RIGHTS, used in protection of the name, image or likeness of an  individual, entity. To be more specific, this law prevents one entity from using another’s identity with the aim of gaining commercial advantage without having mutual consent in advance.

The fourth is A NOTE ON FAIR USE. “Fair use” is a quite difficult concept to understand, even for experts. This means that you might be able to incorporate someone else’s copyright or trademark into your own work provided you do it in such a way that is considered “fair use” or in a way that qualifies as another permissible use. However, the scope of “fair use” is not the same across nations, so even if you think that you have created a work covered by “fair use” or another permissible use, you should acquire an attorney’s opinion before using it in connection with LK Nation service. In case we receive any report about potential infringement issues, we have to take down the works no matter what.
